When holding out a handful of peanuts to squirrels in a city park, it's easy to look down at the small paws, the bright eyes, and imagine little growly voices rising up through the long whiskers. And that's exactly what happens one day when Paul brings a bag of cashews to the park- the squirrels speak. They have lived in the park for a long time, waiting.
