A tale of horror, witchcraft, and lycanthropy set in an age of severity, superstition, and starvation. The town of Ormswell is inhabited by three witches, one of whom who has conjured a monster to destroy her rivals in an effort to secure her place at the devil's side. Farmer John Goode faces the flames of fanatical justice as a once prosperous and peaceful town collapses in an orgy of fear, hatred, and evil.
