Appropriate for use in the laboratory section of geomorphology courses. The exercises assume that the user has a basic understanding of topographic maps, aerial photographs, map symbols, contour lines, topographic profiles, and geologic cross-sections. The exercises are to develop the ability to interpret the landforms on any map or air photo, utilizing the method of multiple working hypotheses.
