With the group's first concert independent of the Berlin Philharmonic in 1973, a new dimension of cello playing was born that has since attracted millions of fans. Now comes the release of the eight top albums by this “Berlin dozen” from the years 1978–2010, compiled for the first time in one single box and including a premiere: the super-group's second album, from 1981, released in entirety on CD for the first time.
