A mother's worst nightmare.
Sixteen-year-old Sarah and her 14-year-old brother become time-warped back to 1962, four days after Frank Morris escapes from Alcatraz. Hiding in an old airplane doesn't help, since that's the aircraft Morris charted. Destination: Hong Kong. Jeromy is dumped into the South China Sea, leaving Sarah alone and afraid he may be dead. She doubts whether she will ever return to her own time, because she hasn't a clue as to how they traveled back in time in the first place.
"It's a classic from the past. Can you believe, dude? A 1955 Pontiac Safari Station Wagon, like almost brand new."
"But where's the Chrysler van?"
"How would I know? Some kinda spooky time warp."
