The topic of police discretion has long intrigued members of the academic community and law-enforcement practitioners. This scholarly yet practical study is an attempt to create conversations between these two groups. It presents a model designed to link theory and practise in order to advance collective understanding of the factors that contribute to discretionary decision making.
