Opiniones is designed to address the transitional problem between beginning and upper division courses. It is the only upper level book that takes a four-skills approach to the further development of language proficiency after students have gone through the basic language sequence. Unlike other texts, Opiniones provides students with an audiolibrary–unscripted, native speakers talking about familiar topics–which bridges the gap between scripted first-year materials and authentic ones.
