Rummaging through old letters and photographs takes on new meaning when a group of people spanning two generations and thousands of miles have the opportunity to compare notes and family stories. Their only common bond is that they are all descendents of Daniel Sturges Jr., a patriot from Fairfield, CT, who struck out looking for new opportunities for his family on the frontier after the Revolutionary War.
