This book introduces 7 ways of creating Log Cabin blocks. Some quilters will love the old technique of quilt-as-you-go with the quilting done as you piece the strips. Other quilters will like the three traditional techniques of piecing strips, foundation piecing and paper piecing from the bottom. The new techniques introduced are using folded strips, raggy strips made from triangles and paper-piecing from the top. Some techniques require more skill than others. Quilters can choose their favorite technique or try all seven techniques. Each technique has step-by-step photo illustrations and a project to illustrate the technique. The additional projects in the book include a bib, toy blocks, baby quilts, wall quilts, table runners, coaster sets, place mats, bed quilts, throws, handbags, totes, bed runners candle mat and more.
