The Russian Museum presents a collection of 20th century Russian art, considered fuller and richer than any other collection. It displays practically all the trends and stages of development in Russian art during the 20th century for the reader's attention, reflecting works by the leading artists of the last century. This publication includes 214 illustrations, five articles which are short characterisations of the stages of development in 20th century art in the museum's collection, and biographies of the artists whose works form this book.
