In the report of their joint project Finnish, Estonian and Russian ethnologists, folklorists and linguists examine the eastern Baltic Sea region with special reference to Ingria and Ingrians. They also take in cultural encounter with neighbouring peoples. The topics for research have further included the Ingrians in Estonia and Finland, the Ingrian congregation in Moscow and the Tikhvin Karelians.
