Post Pulse is a death metal band from Helsinki, Finland. With members Antti Karhu (Shining (Nor) & ex-The Man-Eating Tree), Sam Roon (Hung), Tapani Rantanen and Anttoni Välimaa, the lineup produces a sound that marries American and Finnish death metal styles. The result is a rhythm-heavy, aggressive, impactful body of work that stands out among bands in their genres on both sides of the ocean.
Post Pulse's second full-length release comes seven years after their debut album, 'Halls of the Damned'.
Featuring 6 (+3) songs, 'Return to the Halls' represents the next evolution of Post Pulse's unique brand of death metal.
Between 2018 and 2021, Post Pulse released 11 singles/EPs, consisting of 15 songs, which allowed the band to hone their sound and define what Post Pulse represents.
In 2022 the decision was made to apply the sound they'd mastered to a body of work that would become a full-length album.
