The border-crossing research conference eBRF was lunched in 2001, to encourage holistic, multidisciplinary research on the effects of e-business, the multiple effects of the recent ICT development on business reality. The research submitted and accepted for presentation at eBRF 2003, fell into four broad categories labelled (i) Consumes and Communities, (ii) Managing Knowledge and ICT in Business, (iii) From Venture to Capital, and (iv) Business Models and Value Networks. The conference proceedings, Frontiers of e-Business Research (FeBR) 2003, comprises altogether 43 papers and 3 case summaries from various backgrounds, all aimed at increasing our understanding of business in the knowledge society.
