We all live in a world of representations and simulacra. If the world is pure fiction, Angel Marcos tells us, let's make our photographs fictitious. Due to this, he prepares the scene he is going to photograph. He believes that the photographer's task is not to choose the place from which things are seen best but to select those that must be seen. He doesn't show, he narrates. His working method implies adding something to the site or finding in it signs of the passage of someone who was there before us.
