This rather splendid nay resplendent double CD package brings together no less than 40 tracks by the ultra prolific, greatly under-rated, hardest working band in rock n roll show business. The 40 recordings included are largely taken from three previous LP releases; ‘Tremblin' The Blues' and ‘Ain’t Got A Leg To Stand On' (Both on Beast Records - FR) and ‘The Toppermost Sounds Of' (Folc Records - ES). The remaining tunes come from a number of 45rpms on Monster Mash (N), Ghost Highway (ES), Martin’s Garage (SLO), Crowntopper (UK) and Migraine (D) plus the odd compilation album track. None have been previously released on CD. On this delightful and luxurious record release you will be treated to a heady cocktail of rock and roll and rhythm and blues with bits of rockabilly, surf, soul, garage, mod jazz, doowop, exotica and zydeco thrown in for good/bad measure!
