Essentials of Practical Biochemistry has been prepared in a user-friendly manner according to the requirements of medical, dental and paramedical students. For quick and easy understanding, the practical exercises have been described in several headings like Introduction, Principle, Materials/ Apparatus required, Procedure, Observations, Calculation and Result. In each practical exercise, a blank space has been provided for students to write down their own observations, readings and calculations. This textbook can therefore be used as a practical manual while working in the laboratory. Normally, students find difficulty in understanding the procedure and calculation portions of the quantitative practical exercises.
