In the light of the above considerations, this book was written. As the core content of social security, old-age care has always been the basic people livelihood project that the Communist Party of China and government attach great importance to, and is also the important administrative goal of building a moderately prosperous society. It is necessary to review the evolution of China's old-age security system, sum up the achievements and experience, and look into the development path of the old-age care with Chinese characteristics.
