Arvostelu:	I read this book actually in Finnish but needed the English verion for my friend. In the Finnish verion the language is somewhat old fashioned but don't let that hamper because the content is not. This is really a good compact book for anyone who wants to get insight into the praying. Actually, I would recommend this to everyone who prays since prayer is so often misunderstood and misused and thus a source of frustration, disappointment and doubt. It's so deep in our nature that we want to earn things by doing that also prayer becomes a task and burden under which we wear out. Through many examples Hallesby wants to spell that it's not about bargaining but about an amazing gift that we have from loving and open-handed but sometimes also inscrutable God.
