Psychotherapy of Schizophrenia (Master Work Series)
Drawing on 30 years of clinical work, this work presents a survey of the treatment of schizophrenic patients. The author offers his own method of individual treatment that remains independent of the much-debated causes of schizophrenia. The book focuses on three important aspects of the disease: disturbed ego activity; the loss of the so-called ego boundary; and multiple splitting, or ego fragmentation. It emphasises the sharing of psychic suffering and the process of psychotherapy.
